Hit the nail on the head!
Now, I have a pretty good husband and I'm not complaining, but sometimes, they just don't get it. Let me quote a line or two.....
"We hate that we have to tell them what needs to be done, that they can step over a basket of laundry on their way to find the remote control."
and
"I hate nagging, If he asks me to do something, it's done. But if something doesn't matter to him, why should he bother? He'd never forget to TiVo something he wanted to watch, mind you."
So I gave you a little, you better check the rest out yourself!

Playing in the snow
It was.......
2 lbs ground beef
1 cup taco sauce
2 env. taco seasoning
2 cups shredded colby and monterey jack cheese
1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese (CUBED)
1.5 c crushed tortilla chips
24 uncooked jumbo pasta shells
1 cup sour cream
1/4 c melted butter
1 cup salsa
3 green onions
Cook beef; drain. Add taco seasoning according to package directions. Add cream cheese, cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and chill for 1 hour. Cook pasta; drain; then gently toss with butter. Fill each shell with 3 tablespoons meat mixture. Put salsa in bottom of a 9-inch baking dish. Top with stuffed shells and taco sauce. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 min. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese and chips. Bake 15 minutes longer. Serve with sour cream and onions. Top with lettuce and tomatoes. Freeze other 12 stuffed shells. When ready to use, thaw 24 hours in refrigerator. Prepare as you did other shells and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Ok, First of all I did not let the taco meat/ cream cheese mixture chill for 1 hour. I don't have time for that step. Second, I used a 9x13 class dish. Third, I used Chedder and moz. cheese instead of colby and Monterey jack. I left out the butter step, and the onions (kids don't like). I also did not put any in the freezer so that we can have dinner tomorrow. LOVED IT! If you have any questions feel free to leave me a comment, Jenny ;)
Trying something new!

A week on our own
I added a couple of lilypie counters to my blog. The kids had fun helping me pick them out. Their birthdays are in March on the 5th and the 27th. But we have a lot of other birthdays to celebrate before theirs. The first 4 months of the year are packed with birthdays on both sides of our family.
The kids are playing house right now and Kyle says the baby is pucking! How funny.
How do you get your kids to play nice all the time. Mine seem to pick on each other 99% of the time.
Lord, PLEASE help me to be more patient................

Try this recipe!
Baked Chicken Breast
6 - 8 Chicken breasts
1 can of Cream of chicken soup
1 C. sour cream
1 T. lemon juice
1 whole package of Ritz Crackers
3/4 stick of butter, melted
Place chicken in baking dish. Mix soup, sour cream and lemon juice, pour over chicken. Crush the Ritz Crackers and mix with melted butter. Sprinkle over top of chicken. Bake uncovered 1 1/4 hours at 325.
You have to use Ritz crackers or it won't taste as good. We love it! And it's easy. Enjoy:)
