Kayla's Tumbling Recital

Kayla's recital was last night and went really well. I tried to post the video of it but i'm having trouble getting it to load. Kayla and Ava Kessler (for my aunts that am are secretly reading my blog....that is Marge Kessler's grandaughter!---Dan & Kim's daughter) is also in her class. Kayla can do a good cart wheel but last night she hurried through it and fell of her bottom both times. She is also lost her scrunchy (can't believe her mother didn't secure that in a little better!). Grandpa & Grandma Meinhart was there to watch and we sat next to Marge, Kim and Dan and some of Kim's family (Ochs). Marge and Kyle had a good time during the show. She really enjoys teasing him :) After the show we decided to go eat at the Old Tyme Steakhouse. It was really good, probably not suitable for a 5 and 3 year old that didn't get a nap that day, though!

Also, on Friday night Scott, the kids and I went to the farm to take out an old fence row east of the house. It was the old hedge post with barbed wire. we striped the fence off the posts and then I (Yes, I) pulled the post out of the ground....that's how wet it is! Scott rolled the fence up. We then decided to go home but managed to get the Bushog (utility vehicle) stuck! So we had to do a little "mudd'n" to get out. We were all covered from head to toe. We had to go home and take a shower and then go back to the farm to get the van! The kids LOVED it. They want to rip more fence out today;) I will keep trying to upload the video. That's all the story's I have for today, until next time...........
